Our Mission
Melbourne Motivation's mission is to empower and inspire the next generation of Caribbean leaders by showcasing the achievements and entrepreneurial journeys of young leaders from diverse backgrounds and industries. We provide a platform for these leaders to share their stories, connect with like-minded individuals, and access valuable resources that can support their initiatives and drive positive change in the Caribbean community.
Our History
Melbourne Motivation was born from a crucial need identified at Irie Jam Radio, the eminent Caribbean radio station in NYC with a massive audience of 3.2 million listeners. Recognizing the call for a dedicated platform, our founder, esteemed educator, and entrepreneur Miguel Anthony Melbourne, answered the challenge under the mentorship of legendary radio veteran and community leader Irwine Claire, OD.
On March 9th, 2021, Melbourne Motivation debuted with a clear vision: to elevate Caribbean cultural confidence by highlighting the accomplishments of young Caribbean leaders across various fields and communities. Our focus revolves around our guests, their leadership journeys, and how the diaspora can bolster their initiatives. Having featured over 90 guests from various Caribbean nations and diverse industries, Melbourne Motivation continues to expand its reach. We provide our member community with an outlet to exchange their cultural currency on a daily basis.
